Entry-level Honor 5C likely coming to Europe and India

Back in April, the entry-level Honor 5C made its way to China for only CNY 899 (~$140). With the octa-core Kirin 650 processor and a 5.2-inch Full HD display under its belt, the 5C was instantly a compelling option in the budget smartphone space.
It looks like the capable little device will be making its way to more regions sometime very soon.
Just a few days ago, Honor’s UK Twitter account tweeted a teaser image that featured the outline of a device that looks a lot like the 5C. There’s also an online-only event that’s taking place on June 20th, where we’ll see exactly what Honor has up its sleeve. On the same day that the UK tweet went live, Honor India tweeted a teaser image that talks about the “superior performance of the Kirin 650 16nm chipset”, and that we’ll find out more about this mysterious smartphone on June 22.
While it hasn’t exactly been confirmed that these two devices are the Honor 5C, it’s very likely that we’re talking about the same handset here.
As a refresher, the Honor 5C sports the mid-range Kirin 650 CPU, Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and microSD expansion. There are a few higher-end features on this device as well, like a fingerprint sensor on the back, dual-SIM support, an FM radio receiver, a big 3,000mAh battery, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
We’ll bring you more information as new details arise. What do you think of the 5C? Interested?
