HUAWEI MATEBOOK COMING TO THE USA THIS JULY 11TH

The Huawei MateBook was the manufacturer’s highlight at MWC 2016, and we must say we are liking what we see so far (it was listed in our best Windows tablets article, after all). The promise of a full Windows tablet that is super thin and portable is very enticing, so you should be happy to hear that Huawei is finally announcing a USA release date for the tablet.
This device will be hitting USA shelves come July 11th, with pre-orders having already begun. You can sign up for one at Microsoft stores. It should also come to Amazon and Newegg “starting mid-July”.
The base model is priced at $699, but upgrading its specs can bring it up to $1599. That’s without counting the price of the accessories, which include the keyboard, dock and pen. These are priced at $129, $89 and $59, accordingly.
Huawei Matebook base specs:
  • Windows 10 Signature Edition
  • 12-inch IPS TFT LCD display with 2160 x 1440 resolution
  • Intel Core M3 processor
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • 128 GB of internal storage
  • 5 MP front-facing camera
  • Dual digital mic
  • 278.8 x 194.1 x 6.9 mm, 640 g
  • 33.7Wh (4430mAh@7.6V)
  • USB Type C power port
From there, you can upgrade to an Intel Core M5 or M7. Ram memory can go as high as 8 GB. Furthermore, there are also 256 GB and 512 GB storage options.
